The aim was to connect the living accommodation to the garden. Although the client came to us with initial thoughts of an extension, further investigation found selective demolition and sensitive intervention would create a better solution.
After removal of existing extensions, the construction of a new garden room connected the main house to the garden. The whole space has been allowed to open up, connecting a small dining courtyard with the main space.
